City Barbeque and Catering

I'm consistently impressed with the service I receive at City Barbeque.
The meat is always juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I recommend the corn casserole and Jacked Mac side items.

I like to think that I'm a BBQ connoisseur and this place is a BBQ lovers best friend. The food is excellent and the service is quick and friendly. They give you a healthy portion of whatever you order. If you haven't tried City Barbeque, then you're doing your taste buds a great disservice!!

My boyfriend got barbecue pork, okra and Mac n cheese. Though not as good as a local barbeque place we go to. He said it was very comparable. I got okra, Max n cheese and baked beans. Okra is cooked well with corn meal and breading not as heavy which is great. Baked beans are to die for with plenty of molasses and beef brisket pieces. Yummy! Their Mac n cheese was not my thing as it reminds me of Velveeta cheese, but it was moist and not dry. Atmosphere was loud but relaxed. Plenty of seating and a clean bathroom. Staff are very customer service oriented.

We love the atmosphere here casual and laid back. The brisket is usually always very tender, love the variety of sauces. I love the veggies and seasonal items like watermelon that they offer. On our last visit the manager was letting guests know we could buy a slab of ribs for a bit of a discount because a catering order had canceled due to an emergency. It so happened we were helping to host an event the next day and were able to buy all of the ribs from the canceled event. It was so good he asked around and of course the ribs were a huge hit the next day!!!

I recently went back to check for improvement. Service was much better, brisket was awesome, and the sausage was good. My ribs were a little hard but overall the meal was good. Portion sizes were decent. I chose the 2 meats, a reasonable amount to share. Good job City BBQ, you have improved!
