The Original Carolina Barbecue of Garner, Inc.

I recently hosted a Family Reunion (30-40) at my home. Carolina Barbecue of Garner was the caterer. I gladly give them a 5 star rating because everything went perfect from the initial contact with the caterer to the time the food was delivered. It arrived at the scheduled time, was well prepared and hot. There were some items I was not expecting, i.e. ice for the tea; and an appetizer. The guests were extremely pleased with the food and asked for the name of the caterer, which I was pleased to provide. THANKS, CAROLINA BARBECUE for a job well done, and for helping make this Family Reunion a great success.

Cabbage was perfectly cooked. Most of their vegetables are worth the trip. Potato Salad was on the dry side. Not enough Mayonnaise and other ingredients. Tasted bland to me. Skip Banana Pudding here Peach Cobbler much better. Corn were cold and hard. Barbecue is hit or miss sometimes it's on point other times just ok. Fried Chicken is really good when ????.

This is my favorite bbq joint. They also have delicious chicken pastry on certain days. One of the ordering options is an all you can eat family style buffet that is brought right to your table to save you trips back and forth to the buffet which I really enjoy. The sweet tea here is delicious and they bring you a pitcher to the table so no waiting for refills.

This place is as authentic as Eastern Bbq can get! Excellent texture to the pork; exceptional, mopped taste. Fried okra, crisp but not rock candy hard. Potato salad was a little loose, but great flavor. Brunswick stew was a mixture of sweet with a little heat. Hush puppies were slightly crispy on the outside and tender-tasty on the inside. Fabulous service, clean and classic. Lemonade and sweet tea were perfect.
