New York Diner

This is a very small establishment. The food is good. It appears to be 10 booths and 4 tables (seating 2). If you enjoy NY Diner food this is a good place for breakfast and lunch. Understand that you will not have "grits" potatoes with peppers and onions are offered. A nice secret place to enjoy.

We were a group of New Yorkers looking to get breakfast late in the day. Diners are easy to come by in NY but we had a hard time finding many online that were in reasonable driving distance from where we were staying. When New York Diner popped up we booked it over and WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!! The menu is ginormous, breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered all day, and the staff were fast and courteous. One of the google badges says 'small plates' but 2/4 of our party got to go boxes for our plates. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others and we plan to visit again during our stay in Raleigh.

Love this place for breakfast/brunch. The staff is consistently warm and friendly. Service is ridiculously fast--even in peak times. I've only tried breakfast so far but it's like homemade perfection every time. I got the French toast combo and you can also see the Belgian waffle combo with strawberries and whipped cream in the background.

I googled New York diner and read the reviews and decided to try it. Whoopee! I found a diner here in NC with the same friendly atmosphere and cleanliness that I went to frequently living in Florida. The service was impeccable and amazingly they kept my coffee mug full of hot coffee! As for the food, delicious and served hot! I thanked the friendly servers and the cook on my way out and said I will be back!????????
