9.19 Island Cuisine

This place was awesome!!! They make you feel so at home, eating here.. and they're not afraid to you an additional side, if they feel that it better matches up with the entree that you chose. The portion sizes are very generous; I feel like I DEFINITELY got what I paid for at 9.19 Island Cuisine! I'll be back...

Hands down, the best Jamaican food I've had in a restaurant. However, the amazing food doesn't even begin to compete with the authentic love that the owner gives back to her customers. When you enter the building, you are greeted with a great smile and a dish tailored to your tastes. Everything is made fresh. The jerk chicken and the rum cake are absolutely mouth-watering.

We visited the 9.19 Island Cuisine last night and it was amazing. We ordered Jerk Chicken, Oxtail Stew, and Curry Goat. All of it was wonderful. The flavors were bold, authentic and traditional. The owners were so friendly and welcoming; they added personal touches that raised the bar for hospitality. If you are craving Jamaican cuisine or looking for a place to try it for the first time, 9.19 Island Cuisine should be your first stop!

I swear this is the best Caribbean food I have EVER had in my life.... First let's start with the cleanliness, A+ as soon as you walk in the place looks clean, oh and the bathrooms are too. Customer service A++ Greeted with a smile, friendly to talk to and open to questions if you're not familiar with an item on the menu. Lastly, the food A++++++++++++ I feel like crying talking about the food because it's so good. I want to go right now but I'm trying to loose weight, lol! I have been twice and all my co-workers have been and have had different menu items and all have loved their options. Fresh and served hot, no seasoning necessary. Can't wait to go back. Customer for life????????????

The food was great, and the people are even more great. My wife and I went to 9.19 for lunch today. It was our first time. We were immediately welcomed and then given several generous samples - chicken in brown sauce, Jerk pork and coconut bread. We'd ordered the jerk chicken, which was very good as well. Really, really nice people....great experience.
