Backfins Crabhouse

The crab cake was very good. However I expected something a bit higher quality overall. The food in general was a bit greasy and a lot of the menu was fried. The beer list is also pretty limited.

2019 review: New location , still as busy as ever! Raw oysters and steamed crab were out of this world! I think that is their forte. My onion rings were delicious and cooked just right. My fish and çalamari came back cooked too long, so the waitress Kaylee told the owner. To my happy surprise, the owner came out to talk to me and not only gave me another piece of fish, but he took it off my bill, because he explained that he was training a new cook. Thank you, Mr. Owner! They also have a bar stop with good wine and spirits.
This part is a review from last year at the old location. 2018: Very casual restaurant with fresh absolutely delicious seafood. We had snow crab, big clams, peeled, and unpeeled shrimp, and it was awesome!

Absolutely delicious! We were worried that we were at there wrong place because they changed locations since we were here last, but it is the same place that was downtown. My three year old loved the fried shrimp and corn on the cob. We enjoyed crab legs, scallops, crab cakes, and green beans. Everything was perfect and worth the cost. We will definitely be making the hour long drive again.
