80-90% of the menu is quite impressive, simply requiring a visit or two to fully familiarize yourself. Absolutely ask for staff recommendations. My personal selections being the warm goat cheese, wild boar bolognese rigatoni and a solid tie between the octopus and braised pork belly (octopus being a slightly larger portion). Fantastic atmosphere with wonderful decor. Weekday drink specials or bottles or wine or delicious rum cocktails are also enticing ????
This place was a lucky find. It's easy to find and was within walking distance of our B&B. Our waiter was very personable, professional and friendly. He was insightful with the menu, and was prompt with service. This was a proper tapas menu with incredibly tasty selection. I had a rum old fashioned and it was delicious!
Top notch! Great European dining experience in a small town setting! Have been multiple times and have always had great service. Bar staff is exceptional and the rum drinks are not to be missed!! This is not Bacardi and Coke, Bodega has a good selection of top shelf rums that the bar tenders mix expertly! The ship down is a personal fave!
The food is served small plate and I like to order about two at a time. Take your time and enjoy the experience! The presentation and quality are terrific! Try this place for a bit of different experience!
Took Mom there for Mother's Day and had a really great meal. The warm goat cheese dip is AMAZING; I swear I would bathe in it if I could. They had an awesome wine and cocktail list, and our water was very knowledgeable about the beverages and food pairings. I appreciated that the brunch menu was varied but not overwhelming, and had plenty of options--even freenice gluten and vegetarian selections. Will definitely go back.
So far have only been once, but our experience was great. A few things were a little pricey, but totally worth it. Our waiter was fantastic, with a great personality and helpful. We went with a larger group, so we were able to try about half the menu. My favorite was the bed tartar, and if that makes you squeamish, I would definitely say to give it a go. Best tasting thing I tried so far in the menu. Another table favorite was the goat cheese dip, as well as the pork belly. In a quaint little spot in downtown Wake Forest and definitely planning to go back very soon!
