Mezza Luna Pizzeria

Food was great. Could tell it was made in house. We had a mixture of pizza and some entrees and subs. Bread on the subs was clearly fresh and chicken cutlets were not bulk for sure. Lasagna and chicken parm were tasty with good portions. Everyone was friendly and working hard to get through the crush.

Cons: They are struggling under the demand to get orders completed together and in time with the estimate. Expect this will be sorted out in coming weeks since they are fairly new. Also forgot to include our garlic bread appetizer. Didn’t go back since they were already underwater.

Will absolutely be back in the future.

We recently ordered the pizza and garlic knots. The pizza was quality and tasted great. I would like to see more pepperoni used. Please add banana peppers to the toppings menu!

As a former NYer and proud North Carolinian for the past 25 years - I feel qualified to say that this is THE BEST Italian food I’ve had since I’ve been here.

I can’t say anything else other than this. Who makes a sausage, pepper and egg sandwich here other than Mezza Luna? NO ONE. I’ve been waiting 25 years.

Job well done. 5/5 all day, every day. If you like GREAT (not good) Italian food - this will be your place. Forever.

This shop was recently named the Pizza Dude after change in ownership I can say they are an extremely friendly staff which is a plus. The food was okay not bad not great but kind of pricey to just be okay. Also the dressings were warm and tasted old. But at least staff was extremely friendly. Probably wont go back anymore though since the switch.
