Skipper's Fish Fry

This was a really good quick seafood joint. The prices were a bit steep ~$46.00 for 2 people with tip, more then what I would consider acceptable for fast food seafood but it was good quality and fresh. I would recommend this when you are craving some fried seafood.

I moved here 5 years ago and would drive passed Skippers wanting to stop. Once I did I was so very glad. I eat there about once a week or more! Can’t say enough good things about it. Great food, staff and atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed ????

Nice surprise. Avoid the lines and make a hard left and sit at the bar. The guy there knows his beer and had unique taps like Funky Buddha Maple Bacon Porter. Who would have thought? Food is tasty and not greasy. Although I think the banana pudding was from a can. Will absolutely be back when I come back to the area!

Fried calabash style fish and other seafood. The food is really good, The owner is there daily, and is very active and you can tell he really cares. This place is clean as a whistle. The decor is very casual and somewhat of a fast food beachy style. Only gripe...need baked potatoes, not just French fries.

My wife, daughter, and I came about 530pm on Saturday... ordered shrimp and oysters, fish and chips, and chicken off the kids menu. Food came very quick and everything was delicious. My only concern is that the dining area was noticeably warm and humid. We had to rush through our meal because it was uncomfortable. Great food and service, but next time we will have to get take out.
