The people are nice and our waitress was out of this world. However, the food was meh and super expensive. The pizza was basically cooked dough Chicago style without any of the pizzazz. Just salty cooked dough. The calamari was good though. I gave it only 3 stars because the value in comparison to the taste of food was very lacking. The redeeming qualities were the super nice staff and the pretty ambiance. I'd recommend for drinks and apps and dessert.
Great place! Great service! My server Dan was very friendly and knowledgeable. Everything came out timely and as expected. I'll be visiting again next time I'm in town.
Nice service, good dessert, great foccacia. Entrees were perfectly fine; nothing stood out as exceptional and nothing was bad either. The salads were very fresh. Carpaccio needed an acidic bite for better balance but we were all just glad it was on the menu!
I dined at this location with a group of my colleagues and the food and service was exceptional. I and a few others ordered the lobster ravioli because of the server's recommendation. I was very impressed with the dish and the meals pace. The server, Kaleb, was very professional and polite. This was an all around successful business function and we will be returning.
I came here for dinner on a business trip. After looking over the menu, I decided to go for the steak because in my previous two dining outings did not have good luck ordering pasta dishes which I generally favor at Italian restaurants. First thing I'll note is that despite not being a particularly busy night, it took a really long time for drinks to come out. I was there for over 20 minutes and still does not have a drink in my hand and opted for a glass of wine which was already on the table and it was easier to obtain an extra wine glass that it was to get a drink order in. when the steak arrived it presented nicely and look good on the plate. It was even sliced for me in advance. However, the slicing wasn't to my bite-sized preference and it would have been better if they had left her whole for me to slice on my own. The portion size was good and they generally cooked it medium rare like I enjoy my beef, however the steak overall lacked any real flavor and the meat was a bit on the tough side. I have no complaints about the atmosphere which was on the darker side, but this was not a problem and seem to set the atmosphere well. The service was polite and professional although a bit on the slow side. I would not recommend this place based on my single visit but you can take that with a grain of salt since my sampling was very small and it really was just one visit. If I would have happened to be here again I wouldn't necessarily hesitate but would not be particularly enthused based on my first visit experience.
