The Urban Turban

Absolutely fantastic place! I haven't had authentic Middle Eastern food since I lived back in Michigan in Dearborn, and before that, in Syria. This place hits the spot entirely. Everyone there is incredibly nice, food is warm and fresh, and the variety is nice. The ambiance is spot on with what you want in a middle eastern restaurant and it's extremely clean. I highly recommend this place and will be frequenting.

The Urban Turban is a little gem of a place, and never seems to be as crowded as it deserves to be. It's quite informal - you order at the counter and pick up your tray when it's ready. They also have a buffet with by-the-pound and all-you-can-eat options.

The food is very good, but not quite 5 star. Still, you won't be disappointed, especially if you like eclectic middle Eastern cuisine.

The line for this place should be out the door, so come check it out while it's still just our little secret.

This place is one of my favorites! It is a true gem in the middle of what used to be a Harris Teeter shopping plaza, near Paint your pot and Aqua Tots. Everything on the buffet is fresh, healthy and absolutely delicious. Love the boneless chicken, yogurt, and all the vegetable dishes. It's a casual place where you can quickly get one of the best meals in the area. Although they switched to paper plates, at least they have real utensils, so none of those tacky, bad for the environment plastic forks and spoons. I hope everyone goes here so they will stay in business a long time.

Some of the best Mediterranean food we've ever had. Probably the best. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Great gyro meat, very tasty chicken, soft pita. Everything we had was very very tasty, fresh, and yummy.

Buffet was $12 and worth every penny.

This is such a great, authentic place for a quick bite. I love that it is locally owned and operated. The buffet is great or can be purchased by weight, dine in or take out. You may also order from the menu. This place is a family favorite. We always leave satisfied.
