    We stayed on Beech Mtn and I was definitely not eager to go back down the mountain just to eat. So relieved to find the Alpen close by. Brooke was our server and doubled as our tour guide when she answered so many of our questions about the area. Food was delicious…(crab bisque, yum) and Steve and Brooke were above our expectations. Hope we get to go again in the future. Highly recommended

    We enjoyed a romantic, unexpected dinner here last night (due to the winter storm that delayed our trip home). The pecan encrusted trout (minus honey) and salmon were fabulous, as were the carrots and other sides!

    Been there years ago n it was fantastic...had the same experience tonight: food was delicious, margaritas 🍹 on point! Service immaculate: our server was fantastic n very sweet! Not crowded! Everything was perfect as before! We had crab soup n calamari as appetizers, my main course was linguine w shrimp n hubby got the trout! Everything perfect! I will be back for sure!

    Thoroughly loved eating here. Food and service is very good!!!

    We also love the fact that they feed the deer and they are so fun to watch.
