Vicious Biscuit Boone

The back of the line to order was outside of the building but we ordered and got our food within a span of about 40 minutes which isn't bad at all. The food was delicious and in my opinion worth the wait. I ordered the Cubano and was very pleased with the way the flavors of all the ingredients worked with each other, the pulled pork was a little sweet but matched very well with the acidity of the mustard. I'm giving 4 stars because I didn't get full. I think the food is worth the price in terms of taste but I would have liked a side to come with the biscuit.

Came to visit my son at App State this weekend. Passed by Vicious Biscuit Saturday and saw the line out the door most of the day. Was able to go on a Sunday morning right after they opened. The restaurant is super clean, the staff is extremely nice, and the ambiance is popping. The jelly bar is amazing!

First off - the orange juice is fresh squeezed, in house and the best I’ve ever had. We ordered beignets, the Vicious Biscuit, and the Flamethrower. The biscuits were amazing, the chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly, and the beignets were amazing!
Individually I would rank the beignets a 5, the Flamethrower a 5 and the Viscous a 4.5 only because I thought the gravy could have had more pop in the flavor. So overall, if that is the worst thing, you are killing it.

I will definitely be back and try more items on their incredible mine! I am definitely a fan of Vicious Biscuit!

First off, as you might have guessed, their biscuits are great. I’ve gotten the cheddar jalapeño biscuit both times and loved it. Eggs and bacon, both really great, especially the bacon - I’m a chewy bacon fan over crispy, and their bacon was just right.
I got grits, which were not the texture of usual grits, so keep that in mind; they’re really creamy, which it says on the menu. When they say fresh orange juice, they mean FRESH orange juice; like, you’ll be hard-pressed (no pun intended) to find fresher juice at a restaurant in town.

As an appetizer, we shared the beignets. I thought they were a little intense, they’re deep-fried and sweet, but I know people who would go crazy for them.

The second time I got a yogurt power bowl, which was really good, too.

Extra things to note. Be prepared for a wait, especially on the weekend. They have a butter and jam bar with some really cool flavors of butter and jam. The tables all say “reserved” on them, but that’s because they’re reserved for people who’ve already paid.

One more thing — this place has chicken and waffles, which I’ve been wanting to have in Boone for a longgg time, but I don’t think any other local breakfast places have it.

Five stars, definitely worth the visit!

Excellent food!!! Wife got shrimp and grits and I got the Fat Boy. Both were awesome!! Staff was super friendly!! We live hour and a half away and we will frequent again!! And again...LOL

The biscuits really are vicious, they are enormous! The food was wonderful and the staff was friendly. Definitely my favorite breakfast place now!
