    Amazing authentic Hawaain Ice!! Go for the Bahama Mama, hawaain style with a snow cap! You will not be dissappointed!

    Living in Boone for many years I had heard many great things about the icee truck that use to be in the Wal-Mart parking lot but regretfully had never stopped by. After stopping at a Pelican Snoballs in Hickory recently it got me wanting to try the local spot to compare. Boy am I glad I did!! The second we walked in the door we were greeted with a smile and a welcome. The location is the old spot for Appalachia Cookie Company and they did a terrific job remodeling the inside for plenty of seating out front and behind and even have cable tv in the seating area behind. The prices were incredible for the size cone you get. The fiancée and I could have easily split a large and still struggled. The quality of the ice is some of the best I've ever had and much better than what I had down the mountain in Hickory. I got The Mountaineer, pineapple and coconut. It was delicious! We'll be heading back very often and I hope others stop by and give this place a try, you won't regret it!
