Very hospitable staff. Stayed open to accommodate our group. Good, comfort food & service. A known landmark to always visit in Goldsboro.

This was my first visit. I liked it. It seemed to be a place for shop talk. I had a salad and it was very fresh. Will definitely return.

There's been some turnover in the Goldsboro breakfast scene recently, and the Lantern Inn has emerged as our local choice. I love the sausage bagel; it's dairy-free, tasty, and filling. I've seen lots of other plates that looked equally good, if I were eating cheese.

Fast service, good coffee, fair prices. Convenient, too.

I haven't been to your restaurant in years. My friend & I decided to go for brunch today & we were not disappointed! We were treated as soon as we came through the door, with a bright cheerful smile & told we could sit anywhere we like! It was 11am on Valentine's day, no rush yet. Once seated we had a friendly waitress greet us & offer beverages. The menus are on the tables. When I asked , politely for a few minutes to review the menu, since neither of us had been here in years, she very politely said of course, take your time! When we were ready, all I had to do was slightly raze my hand & she saw me , no problem! Quick & smiling service!! Our waitress checked on us a few times , to make sure we had all we needed, refills & all. The meal was very filling!! Thank you Sheilah (our waitress) for making our brunch experience a wonderful one! Happy Valentine's day to all!
