1st time trying it on a Boston but best by far

Now closed. Business fell off and the food quality suffered. It will be missed by many. A local icon is no more.

O.M.G. How have I lived this long and only just now discovered this treasure??? I love it! And it has NO Sugar!!! My life has just gotten better. ????

My father, now deceased, was born in Goldsboro and was an excellent "southern" cool. He always insisted on using Scott's when cooking pork or chicken, because the sauce enhanced the flavor of the meat. We moved to Florida in 1972 and dad would call Martel Scott at the restaurant and ask him to send him a case of sauce. Today my sister and I carry on the tradition by continuing to use Scott's, especially since there's nothing better!

If pulled-pork is your BBQ style, then Scott's is the sauce you HAVE to have. Face it, Scott's is the sauce you're probably eating at a LOT of the nearby BBQ restaurants anyway. They're not telling... Scott's will do private label bottling, but it's all the same sauce.

Go by and get you some.

You can also buy it at Food Lion and WalMart. Keep an extra bottle on hand.

(The restaurant at the same location is classic; only open Th and Fri for lunch and possible going to close soon. Don't miss your chance to get some of the finest pulled pork around.)
