My family and 2 of my friends with their children all went to the block today for the first time. All of the staff was friendly and helpful, no complaints there. I felt the pricing was reasonable for all of the activities that were included in the 3 hour all access pass. We didn't even last the whole 3 hours before the kids were wore out so that was great. We were surprised and enjoyed that it wasn't overly crowded.
My only complaint was the condition of the play areas and safety concerns. I wish I had taken more pictures for reference. The bathrooms appeared clean but smelled terrible like deep soaked in pee. The walls throughout looked dirty with handprints all over like it's never cleaned or wiped down properly (especially in the toddler room). The toddler room slide on the tree house was cracked at the bottom and definitely a pinch/scratch hazard to their little legs. Also there were holes in the netting of the small jungle gym/ball pit and my 1 year old stuck his leg through it. The foam blocks are so beat up they're literally crumbling apart and I had to pick the pieces out of my kids hair. The blow up landing pad in the foam pit room was also extremely deflated. My husband said he was literally standing on the floor when he stood up on it. It was so sunken in that the sides were falling in. There are also bolts sticking out of the side of the ninja warrior course that were eye level to me and had no coverings on the ends to protect you if you accidentally hit them. I almost walked right into them while recording my kids playing and luckily noticed them just in time. My husband played pool and said the pool sticks were all broken and looked chewed on. The bottom of the stair well to the gellyball course has a loose topper and popped off enough to pinch one of our kids fingers. The gellyball guns barely worked and everyone in our group had issues with their guns not shooting. We were disappointed that we drove over an hour to visit and it was very run down. We have been to lots of indoor play places from Charlotte, Hickory, Mooresville, etc and the interior condition of this one has been the most disappointing. This place needs a good deep clean and equipment repair/replacement ASAP.

I visited this place back on March 3rd with my daughter. We had never been before and were invited by her classmates parents and a couple of other girls joined us as well. We live in Mooresville so it was a little out of the way but the drive was very nice. The place is huge with a lot to offer. It's actually so big that there are areas we didn't get a chance to see. The girls rollerbladed & rollerskated for quite a while until our time to go down for the gelly ball. That was pretty cool, and us parents put gear on and ran around behind them getting photos. Once done, we headed over to get some food, and we're a little disappointed. It was maybe around 6 pm, and yes they close at 7 on a Sunday, but they only had 2 slices of pizza left and weren't offering to make more. We were a total of 7 people so we definitely would've purchased a pie or two. I almost feel like an announcement should be made leading up to the time that they'll no longer be cooking anything or that the kitchen area will be wrapping up. We allowed the kids to play and enjoy themselves without interruption really hoping to have had dinner there. Sadly, that didn't work out, and we were all hungry. Regardless, we allowed the kids to jump in the bounce area and play some arcade games up until closing time. We all rushed home since we were over an hour away and just grabbed drive thru near our homes. Another small complaint was must cleanliness seems people left their trash behind on tables and such but no one was quickly trying to clean them up and wipe them down. We had to clear off an area ourselves to sit at in the bounce area. We may consider returning again but not totally sure.

Amazing and fun place for kids to just be. It has something for everyone from little to big, different rooms, an arcade, roller skating and gellyball, plus more. It is worth checking out and an exceptionally motivating incentive for the kids. It motivates my 8yr old & 16 yr old and I finally found the one thing they always agree on :)

Recently attended a birthday party on Saturday 01/20/2024 @The Block Owned by Aynsley & Mick Zulpo. Though the party was a success and the atmosphere could use some improvements. There seemed to be a need for some structuring of management. There were safety concerns that were addressed with the owner. When purchasing a game card their wifi went down and several parents who had traveled 45 minutes or more were left unreimbursed at the time. These issues were addressed with both the vendor and owner of the establishment. We've been assured the issues have been looked into and adjustments have been made. Well will definitely be on the lookout on our next visit! With some improvements this establishment has potential to be the Best Wilkes has to offer! Be on the look out for an updated review to come.

The kids had tons of fun! My niece climbed to the wall about 20 times and loved the foam put! We, as adults absolutely loved the massage chairs! We will definitely be back! I wish there was a place like this in Sparta, NC..... Not any options for the kids to have fun here.
