New South BBQ

I'm going have to see what the fuss is about when i come home. I'm in Dallas Texas and they don't make barbeque here like back home so when i come home in September please have a helluva plate waiting for me.

The food is fantastic! As an added bonus it is owned and operated by a Dad (Dwight) and his children, doing it the right way. Blessings to you and your Family Dwight! In the immortal words "I shall return"

Today I had another delicious meal from New South BBQ. The Brisket is second to none in eastern NC : smokey , tender , amazing! I also had the Ribs. Really wonderful. The adjective “delicious” is really the best word to describe all of the food I have tasted from New South . We had cabbage and the incredible baked beans as sides today . They complimented the meat perfectly . The meats taste as though I had personally spent the night slow-smoking and basting .
More importantly to me is the customer service . The owner is a genuinely nice person who treats his customers and his employees with respect. He cares. His employees appear to enjoy working for this man. They have good people-skills and care about the food and the customers.
I have ordered brisket and sides to take to a family reunion next week. The owner is going to prepare and package the food for me. I can’t wait to share it with my family!!

Great food! I like a good smoked brisket. This is it! I didn't care much for the yams, but that is subjective to your taste. Baked beans are out of control! Great joint, hope they stick around for a long time.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph this food is Amazing!!! I had the Brisket, Pulled Pork and Yams. The food is outstanding and the Yams ???? are the best I’ve ever tried. The service was great and the owner will answer your questions w/o hesitation. The prices are more than reasonable and it’s a very simple easy menu. It’s take out only but trust me it’s a must go and eat.
