The Beefmastor Inn

This is not a restaurant, it’s an experience. Don’t arrive hungry because there will be a wait; the building is tiny. Bring your own beer/wine with you and enjoy tailgating in the parking lot while you wait for a table. The salad bar is fresh; the steak is out of this world amazing; the service is incomparable to any other restaurant. It’s the best dining experience east of Raleigh.

Best place ever!!! Delicious food!!! Great service!!! Tailgate and enjoy spending time with your friends ànd family while waiting!!! I would give 10 stars if possible ♥️

I’m stationed at Seymour, now. I’m not entirely familiar with the area, but I have family local. My Aunt from Selma actually told me about this place and I’m glad she did. Jeez, it’s amazing. The steak is perfect. It’s old school, only one menu item - STEAK, but it’s delicious. You get a drink, a delish potato, some bread, and a salad. It’s pricey, but like it’s said, you get what you pay for...and here, you get a steak that’s better than Ruth Chris or any other high dollar joint....trust me. You won’t regret it...

Side note, bring a Benjamin for two 12oz steaks meals. ????????

Steaks are quite possibly life changing. I know that sounds a little over the top, and it might be ;) but these steaks hands down challenge *any* steak I've had anywhere else, including all the high-end steak houses.

The experience is truly unique. The cook comes around with a full beef loin, you choose the size of your cut, and he cuts it on the spot. The building is tiny, unassuming, and aged. But it works as part of the experience.

I went with 4 others and we had a blast together. Choosing the cut became a bit of a one upmanship ;)

There's often a wait. At worst it can take a couple hours. But they allow you to tailgate in their parking lot. There's a fantastic bottle shop just down the street in Wilson. I recommend grabbing a few brews and hanging out with friends making a full evening of it.

This is the best stake place ever. There is no improving the service, quality and experience. They are too good, so be ready for 1 hour wait during the rush times (Friday and Saturday dinner service), it is worth the wait. Their next step should be to expand. Awesome steaks really. They bring you the raw meat to the table so you can choose how big of a cut and the have an awesome unlimited salad bar for you to have while you wait for your cut to be cooked.
