My favorite Coffee Shop at the moment! I had the most delicious lunch as we strolled thru town: Vegetarian quiche with salad and Pecan coffee with fantastic strawberries, giant strawberries covered with black and white chocolate; price was simply fair, fair enough to make one come back often.
Thanks both owners such a fine couple, making all the difference.. Staff was nice and happy.

Forget Starbucks. If you want a great selection fantastic coffee, excellent food and desserts, look no further than Appalachian Java. The staff is always helpful and friendly. They have limited outdoor seating as well as an upstairs if the lower level is full.

It was good. A nice selection of coffees and treats. The banana bread was delicious, the trail mix cookie was very good, and the coffee was, while nothing to write home about, was fresh tasting. I recommend.

I would have given higher rating as the store was immaculate but the three girls behind the counter never once greeted us and acted as if though we were a nuisance to them for having to stop their cleaning to wait on us. The coffee and food was top notch. However, a greeting by one of the three young ladies would have been appreciated and less attitude even if it was 5 pm in the evening and they were cleaning. First impressions are everything.

A great hometown coffee shop, located in downtown Burnsville. You must try their Ethiopian coffee. It is amazing. If you are hungry, while you are at it, enjoy a light lunch menu selection and then enjoy a pastry. They have a nice selection of fresh donuts, pastries and desserts. Take time to go upstairs to their loft, where you will find plenty of comfortable seating, to include a 90" wide screen Flat screen TV. The owners welcome you like family.
