(April 29, 2019, 4:54 pm)Fabulous experience. Came for breakfast and received a super friendly greeting. Food was typical "greasy spoon", but on the higher end. The french toast was thick and fluffy, the hash browns goody and crispy, but not over done. The server was super helpful about picking items on the menu. The portions were plentiful for the price. Also loved the pet-friendly outdoor seating since we were traveling with pups.

(April 3, 2019, 2:38 pm)As a chef from a semi local establishment and relatively new to Burnsville I must say this little cabin in the woods is an absolute diamond in the rough! My wife and I and our two young daughters often go out for breakfast because it’s the only meal I am not at work for . I was busy this morning reading reviews and the good couldn’t be more right and the bad more wrong ! Great service better food and he gravy is to die for ! Highly recommend giving Bantam Chef a try when I’m the area!

Restaurant should stay open longer in evenings.
It would be great if they served hot tea.
