Kewpee Hamburgers

The burgers were quite good. I definitely enjoyed my double with cheese and all the fixings plus relish. The malt was like the best Wendy's frosty ever, and the fries were perfect for dipping in the malt. The chili was runny. The pies were fine. There was plenty of clean seating. I'd go back.

So thankful for Google reviews! I have never posted a review but today I just must! When traveling I have decided to start using Google reviews to decide where to eat. Today I am hours from home on a ministry trip and I decided to Google where to eat. I scrolled, then filtered by stars and saw this local burger place. I decided to go try it! So glad I did! The line was long which is always a good sign. The people waiting were all so nice and many struck up a conversation with me, I have a baby so that always invited conversation haha! The food was great. What felt like a great homemade burger, some fries, and a nice piece of pie. Definitely get a double large drink it only adds cents and is way bigger than the other sizes! The service is so friendly, one worker helped by bringing my tray to where I was sitting since I was carrying a car seat.

If ever in the area I would DEFINITELY eat here again, if just for the friendly, community type atmosphere!!

Iconic restaurant that you must visit while in Lima. It's truly the best hamburger you will ever eat. The patties are made with fresh ground beef every morning and their selection of pies is unmatched. I would recommend Kewpee to any one. Hint: they serve hamburgers all day. If you need a burger at 6 am, it's the best in the world.

• Old school place, and I mean old oldschool, including the low prices! Good simple burgers, great custard/malt and variety of pies.
Close to I75, a must stop!

• The burger was well done in terms of quality and taste, but was a little but small despite it being a double. Fries were crispy, custard/malt was one of the best I've had and pies tasted liked they came from a home baker.

Burgers are always good. Have been the same quality for many years. Have been going there for over 30 years. Service was quick even though we were there at lunch time.
