The atmosphere is bar like and fine. The people are nice. The portions are huge. Loaded fries are good for a sharable app. Philly steak calzone is the size of my head and it was super cheesey. Too much cheese for me but the dough is hand rolled and so delicious. Lots of options.
Walked down from the truck stop for little dinner. Had a burger and sweet potato fries and iced tea. Ate at the bar. Owner was mingling with the customers and the blonde bartender was super nice too. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.
4/3/19 Wife and I had dinner, we had wings to start good size good flavor, parm/garlic. Her mushroom and black olive calzone was huge, she said it was good, but a little bland, I said no meat what do you expect. I had all you can fish , pollack I believe couldn't complain. Waitress was on ball, seemed like the whole staff was very prompt, they get 5 stars. Don't think you can go wrong if you choose to eat here. Wife and I would recommend this restaurant.
First off this is a neighborhood bar/restaurant type establishment. The decor is what you’d expect. Old license plates and old beer tap tops on the walls for decorations. There is an outdoor seating area and bar, which is where folks go to smoke. The inside seemed clean and well maintained. Comfortable too. The inside bar is long and was long and most all of the stools were occupied, as well as the tables when we stopped in. We ordered the nachos and a pizza. Both were very good. We did not care for the meatball topping but that’s just personal preference. We will get it without next time. It felt more like an adult scene when we were there but you can certainly bring kids. The staff, especially Abbey, were great.
It looks like a little dive, but the food is so good! You will not go away hungry. I had the all you can eat fish (Good Friday); it was delicious. My husband had the steak, he said it was juicy good. My son had the BBQ wings. He said there was a little spice to them, but nothing that dipping them in ranch dressing couldn't cool off. If you are near this exit, it is a must stop. It won't disappoint!
