The Lakehouse Inn

Very Beautiful. We got Married over the weekend at The Lakehouse Inn & our time here was amazing. From working with Patrick, our wedding coordinator, Amber our Officiant!!! To the stay at the hotel the night before. LOVE LOVE LOVE ♡ Such a beautiful place and very nice staff.

We went for our anniversary which fell on a Monday. We arrived Sunday night so we could enjoy a leisure breakfast which was custom ordered and delivered to our room (thank you COVID for social distancing.) We took a short walk through town before our facials at the Spa. Oh so very nice. We toured the covered bridges in the afternoon. Our day was made every so special with having booked the Chef’s Experience with Randy at the Crosswinds Grill for dinner. A four course meal and wine pairings that will forever be one our fondest memories. It was April and we loved being there to enjoy the quietness of the off season.

The two ladies at the front desk (for the life of me I cannot recall their names) were so kind during our stay. From booking, to checking in or out, they were very helpful and informative. They made sure our stay was pleasant and catered to our needs. I believe we had the Lakehouse suite which was just above the reception desk on the second floor. Beautiful room, cozy, quaint, and a very nice view of Lake Erie. I cannot commend them enough for their hospitality and customer service. It was a very enjoyable experience. We will definitely be returning.

I stayed here overnight for a chance to decompress. The spa services were excellent. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I appreciated every moment of the quiet and beautiful atmosphere. It was just what I needed!

The only reason I am giving a rating of 4/5 was the included breakfast. It was very good but it was 30 minutes late to my room. When I called the front desk no one answered. The breakfast also did not match the menu selections. I ordered the apple and cranberry French toast and received a typical, regular French toast. My meal was warm when it arrived, despite being so late, and it was very good. Overall, my experience was good and I will keep this place in mind for future trips.

What a great little place that sits right on the lake. Super personal and cozy experience. Breakfast delivered to the room was perfect and tastey, especially for being complimentary. Spa massages were amazing and I would highly recommend. We ate at the crossroads grill one evening and it was a delicious meal , well portioned, nice atmosphere, with great service. We
there in February and I can only imagine how beautiful the location is during the summer. We will definitely be back.
