Casa Nueva

The first time I was ever in Athens, long time residents advised I eat at Casa and for good reason. You can tell they take pride in every meal they prepare. I assume every Athens resident has already eaten there, but if you're a freshman at OU checking reviews for places to eat, no need to keep scrolling, just go.

I live in Columbus and have seen this place many times passing through Athens. I finally stopped and it was excellent and reasonably priced. Wished I had stopped much sooner now! Try it out and I think you will be glad you did.

Very tasty! I got an enchilada and my friend let me try his second layer dip. The enchilada had a bit of spice to it, which I personally enjoy. Also, they have about 8 craft beers on tap at any given time and a large selection of craft, import and domestic bottles. There is no gratuity (read:they actually pay servers) at the restaurant, which is something I'd live to see more of

We came to Casa Nueva for brunch. Food was excellent, great selection, and a wonderful place that serves lots of vegan options. Everything was fantastic other than the fact we waited an hour for our food. It wasn't incredibly busy, but even if it was, an hour is a bit much.
