I experienced Terror Town for Camp Xul 1 and 2, where a music festival was combined with a haunted town.
I will say that the atmosphere was amazing. Actors were awesome, makeup was great! Everyone on staff was kind, helpful, and accepting of all the walks of life that entered the grounds. I can't speak more highly of these folks. I will be back again and again. Thank you for everything!
Went last year and this year. Both times it was amazing, and I always tell people this is probably my all time favorite haunt because of how intense it is. I wasn’t a fan of the wet dog food mixed with fake blood solution from last year considering I was a vegetarian so the smell of meat made me feel sick. I also had contacts in last year and when they rubbed my eyes I had to ask them to stop so my contacts didn’t get messed up and the actor who did respectfully stopped. In all fairness he didn’t know I had contacts til I said something.
This year they stepped it up by a lot. They switched up the haunt, and made sure to warn people with the bracelets that it will get messy. The cool thing is they added options to get ponchos so your clothes won’t get as dirty. I didn’t even have to change into my spare clothes after. They also changed the solution. It’s no longer wet dog food. I won’t say what it is, but it does wash out easily and it doesn’t smell nearly as terrible. I did have to ask an actor to stop rubbing mud in my face though because I felt my nose piercing come out, but luckily I caught it and he stopped right away. So yeah, super good experience for me and we’ll be back next year! Maybe they can add another bracelet option to still get touched, but not messy.
Fun experience! One of the best I have been to! No long line waiting for the trail! Not saying you don't wait, you do. Bit the wait is not in a slow moving line. You can roam the town and they text you as it nears your time to go into the trail. Great acting. Will definitely be back again and again!
First off, all I can really say is WOW. I have never done a haunt like this before in my life (and I have done a lot of them). This was truly a one of a kind experience in Ohio. The trail was intense and scary but also really fun. The staff outside of the trail was also extremely friendly. You could really tell this is a labor of love by the staff. Everyone was super dedicated to their job and they've really worked to make something special. I could not recommend this experience strongly enough.
It was a good haunted trail. I recommend getting there when it opens as we waited over 3 hours for the trail. There are plenty of things to do while you wait which is way better than standing in a line for 3 hours. You get a text when it’s your turn. They had music, food, drinks/alcohol and also played movies in theaters. I loved all the little kid actors.
