Captain D's

Unfortunately, all the Captain D's in Western Hills area are closed or have been for a long time. I had to stop at this one because I have always preferred Captain D's over Long John Silvers. And this one was not a disappointment. Fresh hot food and got it pretty fast. Restaurant was pretty clean. The only reason I don't give it a five star is because I believe the shrimp was a little overcooked, but everything else was perfect.

We live 45 minutes away so we waited in the drive thru 45 minutes. When we finally got to the window, the cashier took our payment and then got on her phone. We were excited about the cheese sticks but really disappointed that all the cheese had been cooked out of the breading and was on the outside. They tasted awful. Won't go back to that location.

The food meets my expectations, but drive thru service could be better. It's one of the slowest I've been through locally. Also, I've ordered the same thing and received different meals with different price tags.

Always fresh and tasty fish, and every side we've tried was also excellent. I love that they have fried okra as a choice. This is my favorite fish joint in the area. They're unwilling to accept their own promotions though...(- 1 star)
