Smoothie King

We need a quick meal on the go and Olanet Smoothie was perfect. 3 adult MR smoothies and 1 kid drink cam to about $31 which was the only downside

This is a 'strange' place. It just so happens that on the very day I stopped by for the first time to order a smoothie, their 'manager' was there and he had changed everything on the menu to 'Sugar Free'.

I didn't know about it when I placed my order, seeing that he was just another customer sitting in the lounge area. It wasn't until I questioned the girl mixing my smoothie why she handed me a spoonful instead of my 'order'. She asked me to 'taste sample' my order to see if I liked it or not.

At the time, my blood sugar was dropping because I am diabetic and hadn't had anything to eat all day, so I had placed an order WITH SUGAR to boost my blood sugar level so I wouldn't pass out.

That didn't go well.

The reason they asked me to 'taste sample' the order was because the manager wasn't sure if going sugar free was going to "cut it" with customers. I told them I 'really really need a sugar smoothie' but they looked helpless because their manager was there making sure that they followed his directive/menu.

Greatly appreciate their support of the local schools. The Fairfield Marching Band made it to the finals of a recent competition, and this Smoothie King gave each member (about 300 of them) a free medium smoothie. This was our first time going, so we weren't sure what options there were, but the friendly staff talked is through things. We bought a second smoothie, and both were well blended and tasty.
