Sushi Monk

Seemed like a nice family restaurant. When I say family, I mean the staff seems to know everybody that eats there. It's a very relaxing atmosphere. I had two rolls. They were both excellent. Lava roll, and a Spicy tuna.
The Lava roll was absolutely excellent. The deep fried crispy crust on the roll made it perfect. I'm not normally into the cooked rolls, but this one was great.

Fun place to hang out. Great food. Fun chef and good service. Plus I got a skull ice cube in my bourbon.

The sushi was amazing so I can't complain about that. However the service was absolutely horrible. It should not take 1 hour and 30 minutes for 2 rolls of sushi and a salad. Not mention the dried crusty soy sauce that was on our plate that was already present on the table. I will not be returning. I'll stick to dancing roll they having 1/2 price sushi. And the service is better than 3 start quality.

The only thing stopping this place from having 5 stars is the service. And my wife and I are very easy going and understanding, but when there are only 4 tables with customers, 2 servers, and who I can only assume was the manager, you shouldn't have to wave down your server.
