Best Indian food I've had in the area. Delicious, deep flavors and spices. Service can be hit or miss but it's worth it regardless
I am posting my first (and probably my last) ever review because I feel so strongly that this place is criminally under appreciated. It’s BY FAR the best Indian food you will find anywhere in Cincinnati, especially if you have a taste for the spicy! Ravi’s is a hidden gem and people need to know it.
Absolutely incredible Indian food, and unlike anything you have had before. Everything is incredibly fresh and flavorful, and they have a wide variety - all the common Indian dishes you are used to and more, and some more exotic dishes. It is slightly different from other Indian restaurants in town because the food is from a different region in India. You really have to experience it to see how delicious and unique it is.
Good Food for the price. A restaurant is not only known by the food that is served but also by the people who serve the food and run the place.
The food is definitely better than other nearby Indian restaurants.
The owner or manager of the restaurant is a really nice guy. He accommodating with our requests.
Definitely, will be coming back here.
PS: Try the Andhra bone in chicken curry.
I have eaten here a couple of times. Food is very flavorful. Seems like they use more ingredients/spices to give a fuller flavor. For lunch, you can choose 2 out of about 10 dishes over rice for $6.99 or $8.99 depending on the meat. They will let you sample the dishes too. I wish they would expand and make it into a buffet. Know that the spicy scale from 1 to 10 isn't like most places. The 3 on the scale here is much spicier than other places.
The couple that run (maybe own) the place were pleasant.
If you are out late, they are open until 10. I arrived before 10pm, and was here past 10 on a Sunday, and they were still taking carryout orders.
I would drive a little further from the buffet places to get better quality here.
