Ponderosa

Staff was very friendly. The food was on another level. Meatloaf made with ??? I don't know. Very over fried chicken, not very edible. Mac and cheese rivals that of the original Kraft Mac & Cheese. Veggies were very good, salad bar decent selection. This place got 3 Stars only because the desserts were the saving grace.

I really enjoyed Ponderosa. Because all of the Ponderosa's close to me closed, I have not been to one in probably more than 15 years. It was as delicious as I remembered and very reasonably priced.

This is usually a good place to eat Friday night Seafood night, last Friday the fish was over-salted, the Ice Cube's they had the shrimp in was bigger than the shrimp! Had to ask the waitress two times to bring me some napkins it took her 15 minutes to bring me my Pepsi. I could understand if it was very busy but it was not.

Promptly set table for 14 and bartender Mandy is a great personality. Ribs are delicious (apple butter bbq?) and the piece of celebratory cake was a whole cake, complementary, and crafted impromptu upon request. Will definitely return, good buffet prices for 12 and under.

The staff were lovely, even though we were there during the hour before they closed. Good food, buffet was kept stocked. Very satisfying experience.
