Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I super love this place maybe because we're just visiting here and it's not the one near us or what? I don't know but let me tell you their foods are super amazing and so far different from what we have in Omaha, Nebraska. I had the Surf and Turf spicy flavored chicken and shrimp and I love it so much. The chicken is very crunchy as well as the shrimp. It's doesn't stale or look like it's from another's day chicken. The spiciness is just enough that you can taste it, I was surprised coz the store near us didn't give us spicy ones whenever we ordered spicy chicken but instead they just give us spicy sauce. It's also great to know that we can choose just regular rice instead of Cajun (I don't like Cajun rice). The serving and waiting time is not terrible maybe because the good is worth the wait. The place is tidy and clean I love how they make an effort for their store to look really neat and so cozy. I can recommend this place to everyone!

I wish I could give my local Popeyes a better review. I love their food. The spicey chicken is the best around, the biscuits are always fresh and delicious and the red beans and rice are out of this world. However, this particular Popeyes just doesn't have their act together as far as service. At least half of the times I have gone there they are out of spicey chicken breasts, they always seem to be understaffed and the waits are twice as long as they should be. I have seen people leave several times before ordering due to the wait or them being out of items. I hope they get it together because as you read in the other reviews people don't like a slow-fast food restaurant!

I do want to comment that whenever I have been there the lady who appears to be the evening manager is always very polite and accommodating.

Bottom line is great food if you can handle the not so up to speed service.

The cashier was very friendly, and indeed very helpful. The food was nice and hot and very tasty. In fact I would say it is unique amongst the competing chicken restaurants. A very pleasant evening meal.

Loved their recipe for fried chicken as well as their mashed potatoes and gravy. Absolutely delicious! Haven't tried other items off their menu. Kind of expensive, but I would definitely recommend to those who like a little heat on their tongues.
