Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

By far my favourite burger eatery in Eastgate. Burgers are always top quality and are loads more filling than Steak'n'Shake a few doors down.

The options available to different burgers and meals alone is pretty good and you can load everything up with nearly any topping you can imagine.

They also have the good shaved ice for their drinks!

Great staff. We came in late after an eight hour drive. The food was hot and made to order. They didn't rush us out even though it was closing time, which was very much appreciated.

Great place for that nostalgic trip back through time. Really great atmosphere. Whole family enjoyed the memorabilia on display and the food, even my two picky eaters. Being originally from Philadelphia, cheese steaks are a way of life. Hard to find a place that even comes close to having an "authentic" sandwich, despite whatever advertisements that you might hear. Hwy 55 nailed it perfectly. Plenty of meat, cheese melted throughout, nice soft, warm roll. Highly recommend going here, either with the family or your own. You won't be disappointed.

We ate for the first time here and it was great. I had the All-American Chicken Cheese Stake, cheese fries and a brownie sundae.My best friend has the chicken strips, fries and the cookie dough concrete. Everything was delicious! Our waitress Allie was so sweet! We will definitely be back again.

I ordered the hamburger and fries and my husband ordered a hot dog and fries. They both come with a large drink. We both enjoyed the food. It was very tasty and fresh. Plenty of meat in the hamburger. The fries were nice and crisp. And it was all for $16.00. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated, like an old fashioned diner. We will definitely be going back.
