Yamato Japanese Restaurant

Good food and reasonably priced but I'm pretty picky about my sushi.

I loved this place, great food good prices, nice atmosphere. I highly recommend this place. If you like Japanese food, or are just looking for places top try in Wilmington, add this one to your list.

This is the second time I've been here. Absolutely loved the steak and noodle soup special. Was much more than I expected with very good presentation. This was a well prepared high quality meal. Nice decor; I love the bamboo plants, or whatever they are, growing down the center of the restaurant. The service was excellent, with all of out needs well met. I'll be back again for sure!!

This restaurant has very good food. The noodles here are perfect. The service is a tad bit slow though but that’s my o my complaint. The servers are nice and the price is pretty reasonable for how much food you get. Usually I split a meal with somebody because they’re pretty big meals. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area!

For what it is. A small Japanese steakhouse that's ran by a small crew of dedicated people. It is phenomenal and our families go to weekend dining experience. We've only had one waitress and she is so kind and caring. Big tips for this lady who's serves, cooks and makes edible art like the volcano roll and white tiger roll. Please give it a shot so this business can thrive and my family can enjoy it for years to come.
