The Boathouse Tavern

Very clean and we'll put together . I ordered the meat loaf tower . It is 2 pieces of meatloaf sandwiched between potato cakes . Covered in gravy. It was really good. The meatloaf is a little salty. The service was great. Very polite. Ask for Zak

This is a new resturaunt in town, so naturally there has been some kinks to work out.
The first time we tried to come here we were told the kitchen was overwhelmed and that they were not seating anyone. This was the second night of them opening. This time we went and go in without any trouble. We were served promptly and courteously.

I do have some critiques for this resturaunt that any customer should know.

1.) This area is loud, not because the people or business, but because the shape of the building and the fact that it is one giant room with hard surfaces all around. Sounds bounce very easily.

2.) Drink sizes are small, however refills are free. They do good about refreshing your drink. - Pepsi products and sweet tea available.

3.) Portion sizes and prices. The portions here are fairly small, with not a lot of girth to them for the price. Don't get me wrong the food is delicious, just smaller in portions.

Overall it was a good experience with some good room for growth which could easily make it one of the best places in town!
