Killing Tree Winery

My fiance and I were visiting the Roscoe village and one of the store owners recommended we try the killing tree winery and we are so glad we did! Not only is the atmosphere awesome but the views are beautiful and you can't beat sitting around a fire pit with a nice wine slushie!

Also they let us sample all the slushies and it was so hard to choose which one to order., they were all amazing.
The food was great and the service was great! I definitely will be back and will be recommending this place to everyone.

I tried over 10 different wines (semi-sweet, sweet, and fruit wines) and found most of them to be undrinkable. This is a classic setup of a 'winery' that doesn't produce its own wine, but experiments with products. If you wondered what dandelion wine or peanut butter wine tastes like, you'll know. There are redeeming qualities though, as the pizza was good and the space is nice to relax. I'd come for the atmosphere, grab a pizza, but I'd pass on the wine.

My husband and I drove in from Columbus for a date night with our dog. We appreciate that the outdoor area is dog friendly, and the setup is comfortable and spacious. There is a good selection of wine; our favorites were the 22 magnum and the Thingamajigger, which we bought to take home. The food was relaxed and affordable, fitting for the casual atmosphere. We enjoyed the buckeye burger and italian salad, and would order again. If you’re lucky you might be visited by the best waitress, Carly Sue, the dog. She made her rounds saying hello to her friendly canine visitors. Overall I highly recommend, and perfect for a weeknight out.

Absolutely fantastic place. Friendly, welcoming owners and staff. The wines are great, atmosphere is perfect. We will be back!

What a really cool place. Inside and outside dining, a lot of different wines to choose from, a very friendly dog that likes to come up and visit with you while you're eating. The patio they have is really cool, and it's it's too cold outside. They have a pellet heater and an overhead heater. The meat and cheese tray is really good along with their burgers. We drive almost 1hr 30mins to this place every couple months because it's so good. The staff are very friendly and the service they provide is very comforting. This place treats you as a guest, not a number, which is a nice change in pace. Try this place out!
