It's a work in progress, I hope. The staff was very friendly, but not the quickest on their service time. The popcorn and flavor shakers were super cute and on-theme but the decorations, though interesting, could definitely go a bit further without losing anything. They're a theme restaurant that needs to fully commit to the theme instead of watering it down to appeal to larger audiences. Menu items take a stab at being accommodating to dietary needs but they are very lacking in gluten-free vegetarian items. Focusing on a few menu items done really well versus having such a large menu would be better for them right now. The mixed drink prices are also a bit excessive. They are pricing themselves out of business rather than encouraging repeat customers with that strategy. I was super excited to visit here and can honestly say, maybe?? I would come back, but not for a long while... And hopefully by then they'll have worked out some of their issues. I wouldn't tell you NOT to go, but I'm also not really excited to tell you to check them out either. Fingers crossed they're on a learning curve and will get it together sooner rather than later!
I did overall enjoy it but it could have been better. We were in for a birthday which I did tell them when they called to confirm my reservation but I still needed to tell our server. I gave her the birthday girls name and when they announced, it was mispronounced. Our server wasn't as present as I had hoped as we spent a long time with empty beverages.
I think the biggest downside to it was our table. The booth was too big and the gap between the seats and table was just too wide. I'm 6'4" and took a picture of the gap to include here. It was impossible to eat comfortably.
The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed it but it was a little pricey and the bar drinks are a bit much. The potion bowls being 35 bucks was enough to keep us from ordering one no matter how fun they looked. They really should have smaller sized for a smaller price tag. The smoking flight 180 was fun at the 15 dollar price tag. The popcorn they bring to the table is fantastic and they provide multiple different sprinkle seasonings as well.
I wanted to enjoy it more, I really did as it seems like such a fun place but there were just too many things after traveling 2 hours to visit
We took our son here for his birthday. We made a reservation (recommended) and were seated right away. What a unique place/ experience! The concept will get you in the door but the food and service will keep you coming back!! Every dish is packed with bold, made from scratch flavors. Our server was very attentive to all of our needs by especially our daughter’s food allergies. You don’t find that everywhere. We will definitely be coming back!
Went on opening day. The staff was kind enough to get us seats at the bar. Place was really cool. Loved how it’s set up, like walking into a movie theater. The walls were painted as themes of horror movies. Food names were original and fun, again horror themed. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Definitely will go back.
