Happy Dog

Epic. This place is fantastic. Build your own dog. I went with the all beef dog topped with apple wood smoked bacon, white beer cheese, fondue, garlicky escarole, a drizzle of the secret fry sauce, and topped off with some cucumber slices for a little bit of chill. The sweet potato fries were perfect, and also went well with the secret fry sauce. If I had it to do over again, I'd ask for a flight of sauces to go with the fries. Don't like dogs? The burgers look good, and the bar was well stocked. Live music in the evenings and you can't go wrong. Make the trip! You won't regret it.

This is everything you want. It's delicious. It's glutinous. It's magic. So many vegetarian and vegan options. Also first Tuesday's appear to be woke adult night if that's your thing.

One of my favorites. It's in our neighborhood, so we frequent it. Great food, always so unique. Cheap and extensive bar selection. Always some interesting event, meeting, or music going on, so check the schedule before you go.

took my mom here, knowing that she would think it was a cute creative place. Had a great time she even brought my dad back 2 days later. Highly recommend happy dog because you will leave happy!

Great place located near Gordon Square, offers vegan options on hot dogs and the tater tots toppings and sweet potato fries.
Music is never too loud, again, during the day, or obnoxious.
The booths are a bit dated, but it adds to the great dive-bar vibe.
Waitstaff is always friendly and willing to get more information on food options, if you have any questions.
