Looking forward to returning with my friends. It has a nice atmosphere. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I loved.
For me personally, disappointing. They had crab legs, salmon, other seafood, roast beef, ham, scrambled eggs, undercooked bacon and sausage... which will be wonderful for some folks but none of which appeals to this semi-vegetarian picky eater. Chicken sounded good, but I opened the warmer to find legs and thighs, no breasts. Peas and pearl onions... with bacon. Green beans were ok. No green salad to speak of. Plenty of fresh fruit, though, and some marinated vegetables. Nice selection of breads and scrumptious desserts, very good coffee, great service.
This was out first time here. We met friends for the Sunday brunch. The buffet was well laid out with 4 different areas, typical breakfast items, fruit and salads, meat selection, and desert. The food was outstanding. The atmosphere is very cool as it is in an old bank with lots of history to the area. It is a bit loud as there is little acoustics. I am one that is usually bothered by this but it was very tolerable. The only blemish in our visit was the service. Perhaps due the self-serve of the buffet, there is less consistency checking in on tables but for me and our friends too much time passed between each visit from our server. It was perhaps a bad day and we will for sure return. Crop is located in an energetic area near the West Side Market and other shops within a short walk making this a nice stop before or after some shopping. Great atmosphere, great food, and good service makes this a must on your brunch destination.
This was our first time at Crop and I would rate the food as high quality, with great selections - crab legs, prime rib, mussels, fresh fruits, along with the typical breakfast selections (the French toast is tasty!). Every seat was filled, which made for a noisy & crowded environment. The service is average - we did wait some time for drinks & visits from our waitress, though she was fairly quick to pick up our empty plates. They do a good job of keeping the buffet stocked. Definitely worth a try!
Great weekend Brunch! From cheesy grits to whole salmon and much more. Customer service was awesome! Definitely recommending this restaurant to all.
