Café Avalaun

We were searching for a restaurant/cafe that could accommodate my allergen needs. As a breastfeeding mom of twins, I have to restrict dairy and soy as they cannot tolerate those two allergens. My husband found this cafe on a Google search (although it wasn’t widely advertised). I feel that other mothers who restrict their diet would love this place. I also think anyone else with a specialized diet would too. While the menu is quite pricey (up charges on adding ingredients to the calzones) it was definitely worth it to have a nice meal that I knew was safe! I got a DF/DF calzone and added sausage, basil, mushrooms and tomatoes. It was very good and came with a side of marinara. I also got fries and a cookie. The homemade aioli was delicious too! I just wish I knew the portion and ordered more. My husband got the clevelander crepe and added chicken. He says it was quite tasty! We liked that I could get DF/SF and he could get a regular meal too. The staff was nice and our food was done quite fast! The cookies were good too! We will be back :)!

My wife and I really enjoyed the crepes! I ordered the Philly cheesecrepe and my wife got the Lemon Bar crepe. Everything was freshly prepared and the staff was friendly. Currently no inside seating, but there were 3 tables available outside.

We got two breakfast crepes and two coffees. Both where amazing. I love that everything is gluten free and taste delicious.

Completely gluten free and peanut free cafe, and you can specify other allergies (we are corn, dairy and onion free). Delicious baked goods and pierogies that remind us of grandma's (which we haven't been able to eat in 20 years!).

I love everything I get here. Everything is gluten free and customer service is great.
