City Barbeque

Pretty good brisket and the service is quick. The food is delicious although I'm not a fan of the ribs, they were too dry. The sauces are good, I'm a fan of the sweet but not the spicy one it has too much of a vinegar taste. Also they dont get 5 stars because their containers broke when I got my to go order, so definitely something to improve on.

Organized chaos, but really delicious food. From the cornbread, to the fries, to the hush puppies, and of course the brisket and pork - Even the lemonade and the tea was tasty. On this particular visit the service was exceptional - the lady taking our order was just absolutely fantastic.

I thought this was a sit down and order type of restaurant but it's not. You come in, order at the counter and then get your food-kind of like how you order at Wendy's or another fast food place. The food came out super fast and I admit I over ordered because the portions were larger than expected.
There is a pickle and sauce bar where you can choose your preferred sauce so that was nice. There is plenty of seating and even though I didn't have to wait for my food, about 15 minutes later the dinner rush started and they were slammed.
It gets a 4 because my pulled pork was dry even with sauce BUT the chicken was really moist.

Called in order for pickup, when I arrived order was ready, bagged, with utensils, plates, napkins, cashier was pleasant. This was at the height of Sunday afternoon rush. Food was excellent. Judges sampler was more than adequate, I would get the pint size sides next time. Great meal deal for first time visit. I will be back.
