High & Low Winery feat. Lily of Sicily Ristorante

This winery is very new, but it is very good. I loved the setup and the location. Our server was charming and relational. He made us laugh whenever he came to our table. The wine was outstanding, and our server took his time explaining the different wines to us. I loved it all, and I will be revisiting it very soon. I am looking to become a regular because I enjoy the vibe.

We found High & Low in Little Italy on Google since we weren't from the area, and we are so happy that we did! Emily was our waitress and so fantastic! Great personality, attentive and very knowledgeable and made the 'Flights' (wine sampling trays) so enjoyable! The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable and the food was amazing!!

Definitely ask how the restaurant got its name, such a cute story!

The manager came over and introduced herself and was great! Even gave us a tour of the whole place! There is so much more to it than what you see when you walk in! Even a seperate room that has a modern moody vibe for larger groups and a great speak easy room!

You will not be disappointed!

The wine was delicious and we got a nice cheese board - a lot of the staff seemed new but everyone was attentive and friendly

However I’m not sure how this place fits aesthetically or culturally into Little Italy. The reason LI is popular is because of its authenticity and cultural significance. I know this building was put up where a parking lot was so nothing has been replaced, but I wonder what it has to offer besides piggy-backing off the neighborhood’s popularity. Seems like it would be a better fit at Crocker Park or a similar venue. I do wish the owners the best and success!

This is a hidden gem!!!! Super cute place. The service and atmosphere were truly amazing, which made our girls night even better (a true vibe). Our bartender Jamie, is very knowledgeable of the wine and provided get suggestions. You have to try the Flights….it gives you the opportunity to try a variety. All of the wine is made locally here in Ohio….I will not say exactly where. You have to visit to learn more about where the wine is made and why the owners choose the name High Low. Jamie took her time explaining all of our selections, giving us the history behind the brand as well as a tour. They have some very cute private event/party rooms. I cannot wait to come back and experience the food (that’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars….we only came for drinks but next time will be both). Until next time……

Normally, I’m not a salad eater; HOWEVER, the Upland salad is a perfect blend of flavors from the dried apricots, almonds, & greens down to the sweet yet not overpowering taste of the apricot vinaigrette. It’s sure to make you think twice about your dining options while making memories with friends and family alike during your stay in the heart of Little Italy. In addition to a superior light meal, the selection of wines they have to offer is sure to turn a “Wine-O” into a well-versed connoisseur.
