Marotta's

We went to Marotta's for dinner on a quiet Tuesday night. The meal and service was excellent. I had the shrimp gremolata and it was well worth the price.I ordered the Chianti Classico and it was a wonderful accompaniment to the meal. Dessert was the lemon sorbet and it was a deliciously refreshing end to an excellent meal. The pizza is good, but so are the rest of the items on the menu.

best pizza and Italian food you can find in Northeast,Ohio....if your visiting or have not tried this place put it on your to-do list!

Last night I was in the mood for a low key, comfortable night, with something delicious for dinner. At Marottas that’s exactly what I got. I sat at the bar where I was able to watch the
gentleman make pizzas for the evening (what a cool experience). I ordered the Carbanora which was absolutely amazing. The house salad, is also to die for...I recommend getting the creamy roasted garlic dressing for your salad! As far as service goes, everyone that works here is so sweet! The host that waited on me at the bar was perfect, always checking on me and making sure I was okay or if I needed anything. I don’t come to Cleveland much but when I do I will absolutely come back here. Also, I will be sure to recommend Marottas to friends.

I was in the Cleveland area last Saturday for the Heights Music Hop. This was my first time in the Cleveland area and had planned on going to another pizza place (Dewey's Pizza) but they were closed due to a power outage. I'm originally from Long Island, N.Y. and had my heart set on trying some pizza in the Cleveland area just to see how it compares to N.Y. pizza.

By chance, we happened to find Marotta's and I'm so happy we did! They were very busy because of the Music Hop. There was about 30 minute wait for a table, but my husband didn't want to wait that long. Fortunately, Marotta's had slices of pizza ready to buy right away, so we got a couple of slices to go. Let me tell you, it was delicious! Definitely the closest thing to N.Y. pizza that I've found since I moved to Northeast Ohio 2 years ago. My only regret is that I live 90 minutes away from Marotta's. But I will definitely be coming back here the next time I'm in the area! Deliziosa pizza!! GRAZIE!!

First time here. Fresh ingredients mated to traditional Italian cooking, attentive service and friendly staff makes for a respite from fast food and rushed eating. By comparison, Marotta's is what dining should be. Traditional East coast style pizza, great salads, appetizers, pastas and entres. The inside is dark wood with dim lights while the outdoor terrace is pleasant in good weather. We will return and you should try it: you will be happy you did.
