    I'm not from the area, but I found Mr. Hero on Google Maps near my hotel. I ordered the Zesty Chicken & Bacon sandwich with tater tots. It was a pretty good sandwich, nice flavor, not too zesty unless my taste buds were off again. The tater tots were a little greasy. Service was very good for a Saturday evening.

    If this is the Mr. Hero on W117 th. I highly recommend it Now if this is the one on Detroit Ave near Lakewood Library not so much. The owner is cranky. When i politely asked for extra Italian oil on my sandwich he refused to put it on. So won't be going back there anytime soon.

    Cheesesteak sandwiches are good, not enough waffle fries for the money, and the food is over priced.

    Excellent fast food place. Cleveland founded and yummy. Hot buttered cheese steak is my personal favorite. Married with waffle fries and cheese with a large strawberry lemonade. I don't go here much because it is fast food but when I crave fast food it's usually Mr. Hero. Consistent no matter which location you go to and always good and tasty.
