Soul food in the midwest.... I've lived in the south for about 18 years now so I like to think of myself as a soul food connoisseur... we had a couple appetizers all pretty good. The jerk wings were pretty amazing and the fried green tomatoes. The main course weren't as amazing. I had the catfish plate, catfish was amazing but the side dishes not so much the collar greens had way too much vinegar, and I can't even describe this mac and cheese.... it was missing something. Candied yams were beyond candied I felt my blood sugar rise.... overall it was cool can't say it's on my list of places to revisit tho...

The food is phenomenal. The portion sizes are huge (my opinion). Made the mistake of ordering shrimp and grits as an appetizer, then my date and I both ordered an entrée, honey glazed fried chicken and the steak. So much food! It was delicious!! Definitely stopping here every time I come to Cleveland.

We were here to celebrate my son graduating from college and he was excited. The service we received from the host was awful, I mean just say you don’t have our table ready. Our waitress though was on point, and did a very good job. The food was FANTASTIC! My family, friends, and I were full and had to take carry out boxes????

This was only my second time attending but first at this location. The initial host turned us around and stated there were no seats available but an older woman reminder her that we were able to sit at the bar. The waitress at the bar was awesome and made sure we had everything needed. Very cool, calm and relaxed... the atmosphere was one that I enjoyed a lot (clean, great music, smiling faces, and positive attitudes)... tried some new food and was not disappointed.
