The Root Café

My son is a vegan and after picking him up at the airport, I found this place. We had a tuna melt and a burrito. Tuna melt was faux tuna.
We loved both.
Place was very eclectic with a laid back atmosphere.

Yummy Vegan Mayan Mocha, tasty teas, delicious Vegan fare. A place to meet up for board games, or just hanging out. A little loud sometimes, it that is just because they are a popular hang out for everyone. Love the displays of local art for sale also!

My favorite Cafe and food in Cleveland! There is no better option for healthy food. It's fresh, sustainable, delicious, and reasonably priced. The staff is great!

The Root is a great little coffee house that offers many different varieties of coffee, great food and pastries. Many of the selections are vegan and very tasty! On select nights there is a showcase of local talent and it is a great place to hang out with local residents of the city.

I love that there are resturaunts where you can eat clean like at The Root. I love the menu selection here, i just wished they would season the food more. If you are a person who likes the taste of your food in a bland way this is the spot for you. I just always have to season my food from here more. NOTE: this did not stop me from rating it highly because the food is still good and it is fresh. I love the selection of teas and drinks. The Golden Milk (turmeric milk) here is great. I am a repeat customer and I will keep recommending this place and I will return again and again. The cashiers are great to work with too!
