Mitchell's Ice Cream (Solon Shop)

Got ice cream here yesterday around lunch time. Very good service and clean store.

Ordered a scoop of the mint in a cone and a scoop of the mint in a cup. The employee was friendly and kind and also perfectly scooped everything. The ice cream was picture perfect. The entire store was VERY clean.

I stop here several times a year and will continue to do so. Also, all employees are currently wearing masks due to covid.

It's always a good day for ice cream from Mitchell's Homemade Ice Cream! Thanks to a Google Maps search for 'Vegan Milkshakes near me' we decided to try Mitchell's! I highly recommend the following flavors Vegan Buckeye and Vegan Salted Caramel Pecan! Looking forward to returning for more delicious Vegan Ice Cream!!!

Delicious ice cream! Maybe some of the best I've ever had. A ton of flavors to choose from. I recommend toasted pistachio and wildberry crumble. Plenty of seating and inside is contemporararily decorated and nice to hangout in. Also has a freezer section with take-home ice creams.

October 2022: I brought the family here after a visit at the Solon Family Health Center. Their first time eating Mitchell's Ice Cream and they liked it.

Pros:
* Large, clean open inside area to enjoy ice cream year round. They even have paper, crayons, and small shorter tables for the toddlers to use.
* Friendly staff who were patient with us as we sampled various flavors prior to ordering
* Good variety of ice cream flavors to choose from.

Cons:
* Maple Walnut is out of season 😢
* Parking during peak times could be an issue, especially in the front parking lot. Additional parking in the rear.

Conclusion: We will most definitely be back for more ice cream. My family loves Mitchell's Ice Cream and recognizes them as a top tier ice cream supplier in the Cleveland area. However, they seem to prefer Honey Hut when given the option.

This was my first time ! It was great experience. Loved how generous they are with their serving size! The store is huge, lot of seating arrangements. Loved the sundae , also loved the Campfire s’mores limited flavor of the summer .
