The Sauce Boiling Seafood Express

When we got there the line was out the door. 20 minutes later we had our food. The hot sauce was not just hot but lots of flavor. Bit pricey for takeout, $30 for two people but great and filling. Bowls are not quite enough for me. Get a side of rice with the bag. 8 out of 5 stars.

Went on a Friday night. I got in before another big rush of people came through. Line moves pretty steady. I got the Wolfie bowl with sweet Cajun and it was beyond delicious! Hopefully the wolfie bowl stays permanently on the menu! Great first time experience...I will definitely be back!!

Taste is great. Seafood is cooked really well. Portions are small (corn and potatoes are cheap...fill the bag). FYI: the menu doesn't specify it, but bowls come with shucked corn, not ears and lobster chunks, not a tail. The staff is young but professional and friendly; they truly seem to get along well. Service was quick considering the line length.

Talk about a unique twist on the clam bake! I had the crab bag which consisted of 1/2 pound of crab legs, corn on the cob, potatoes and sausage. My husband had the crawfish bag - same thing, just swap the main protein. You have a choice of sauce. We both had the garlic butter.

When we got it home I was too excited to take pictures! It was like Christmas!!! Definitely the best takeout seafood I've ever had. I initially thought I wouldn't like the corn because it was overcooked for my taste. HOWEVER, something about the seasonings in that bag made that corn absolutely delicious! I ate BOTH pieces and wanted more.

We will definitely go back. The only drawback is the wait. We managed to arrive at a time when the line was long, but still inside the building. The line moved pretty quickly considering what there doing. I think we waited 30 - 40 minutes from start to finish. I considered taking off a star for the wait but it really isn't there fault that they're so good people are crowding in...or, maybe it is!

If this place was closer I would live there!!!
