Park Place

This place is awesome! Best old fashioned ice cream place around!

Ordered 2 scoops of the cappuccino crunch ice cream in a waffle cone. Very good stuff.

They had really good ice cream, you can get it inside an m&m cookie cone

Smaller ice cream and snack cafe. Good selection of ice cream and some classic fair food. The metropark on the same side of the road was a golf course until last year, and is being allowed to regrow back to a natural woodland, the hikes are nice. The adjacent metropark across the street has been there for years and had wonderful scenery with terrific hikes and picnic facilities. Park Place is the perfect place for a snack or treat before or after visiting the park. Seasonal hours and good prices.

They have very good frozen custard. My son and husband love the twist cone and get chocolate with crunch coating. It is a creamy, soft serve "ice cream" that we got. They also have hard scoop ice cream and can make just about anything you want like sundaes, shakes, etc. They have some picnic tables out front and benches to sit on. They also serve food like sandwiches (never tried).
