The food is not your typical Mexican meal it far exceeds what you are used to. The atmosphere is energetic. The staff are spot on and eager to help. I love the constant new food and drink items being added on a regular basis. I was here the first week they opened and have been back repeatedly. They offer an amazing dining experience. Give them a try, you’ll be glad you did.
New restaurant so maybe it needs some time. The first time we went I got the pulled pork nachos. The pulled pork was delicious, the nachos on the other hand I could not bite through. They were like leather. So, a month later tried again, ordered the same. This time they were perfect. Had a flight of beer to go with them, very nice. Looked like there was only one waitress for several tables and she even made the drinks and did an excellent job. I'll keep it at a 4 since they failed on the food the first trip but we'll give them another chance in the future.
Most of the food was great. The prices seem a little expensive for this area though.
Food was good. Tasted more authentic Mexican food than some places. Margaritas were very tasty.
This is why I think it deserves 5 stars. Environment was great. The food is different than what is traditional and expected in Defiance Ohio. Instead of competing with the local greats they created a different menu. Food was very good. Excluding the alcohol we average $15 a person including chips and salsa and sopapia. The Margarita flights were solid. There was a wait to get seated but was only 15 minutes.
Good environment, lots of loud chatter and drinking. 44 bucks for 2 people. Food was delicious but you have to buy your own chips and salsa, nope, not free here other than that good.
