Had the brisket and pork burnt ends. Both were very good. The sauces were amazing although not needed because the flavor of the meats were delicious. The baked beans were also really good, had the German potato salad and it was a little on the sweet side and kind of mushy, but maybe that's how it's supposed to be idk. Indoor seating was small so hopefully they will grow out of this location into something with more and better seating. Overall a great meal and experience.
The BBQ here is insanely good, I'm 100% confident it's the best in the area, by a huge radius.
Don't wait too long to go around dinner because when they are out they are out. I went at 6pm Sunday and they were out of all sides except for baked beans (which were very good).
The drive thru is super easy, don't be shy to use it. Staff is very friendly and do a great job with first timers.
The meat smoke is perfect, and the sauces are killer. I'll probably buy the $6 flask of a sauce next time.
Only con I have has nothing to do with the food or the service, it's the price. Id like to see the prices come down some after they pick up in volume. 1 lb brisket, half a rack of ribs, and 1 side was $53. To be honest, it's the best BBQ I've had in a long time, so maybe it was worth the cost.
Found the good to be exactly what I wanted . We got the Mac and cheese bowls and they were delicious. Their bbq sauce is pretty fantastic.
If you are looking for some fantastic bbq in good portions hit this place up!
My only drawback was the price but that is expected with good bbq . For the price the portions were crazy good . Enough for left overs easily and enough to fill you up. This will be my wife’s and I’s new bbq place !
Let me start by saying that I have never left a review online for anything. This is my first, but I felt that I had to for this place.
My wife found Martiny's on Google, and thought it might be a good place to try on Father's Day. It is a very small place, and there were no cars when we pulled in. I was reassured when I saw and smelled the crazy cool custom smoker on the side of the building. Then I walked in the door, and the smell only got better. I knew I wanted to try the brisket, but the special was burnt ends. The man behind the counter assured me I would not be disappointed with the burnt ends, and offered me a sample. I was not. I also could see him cutting some brisket for my sons, and could tell by looking that it was going to be amazing, so I ordered both. My wife ordered the half chicken, my daughter ordered pulled chicken on a potato, and my other 2 girls just wanted sides and a few samples of the meats we ordered. I think we tried most of the sides, sharing samples of everything with each other. Everything was outstanding, and the 2 guys working were great as well. I live well over an hour away, and will certainly drive that far to eat there again. Thank you for a perfect father's day lunch with my family!
PS I ordered a pound of burnt ends to take home, and have enjoyed them for lunch the past 2 days
PSS If I could give them a sixth star, I would.
Just picked it up. She said I would love it and she was right. To put it mildly, I will definitely go again. I love Cole slaw and it was great. BBQ was excellent and I even loved the German potato salad. You've now got a fan for life. I'll be back real soon. I can't even imagine how good it is right off the smoker. Now I need to get it right off.
